Callistemon viminalis ‘King’s Park Special’
Tall shrub or small tree with slightly weeping branches that bear a mass of bright red bottle brush flowers in spring and summer. Spot flowering may occur in autumn. Excellent specimen for screening and for roadsides or commercial plantings. Flowers attract nectar feeding birds. Prefers a sunny to partly shaded site in moist, well drained soil. Tolerant of dry periods and coastal conditions. May be pruned lightly after flowering to maintain shape.
