Some plants get sidelined by more flamboyant arrivals, but when the dry times are upon us Canterbury Gold™ shines and its adaptability comes into its own. Pure Gold, it’s a medium soft-foliaged arching shrub suitable as a dense mounding groundcover, or a ‘traffic directional’ screen in commercial and carpark landscapes. Used very effectively on freeway slopes and batters. Wherever it grows, its bunches of golden nectar-rich flowers are a focus for hungry birds throughout the year. Suited to cold temperate to sub tropical and semi arid climates in moist well drained clay and sandy loams of a neutral to low acid pH. Very frost hardy, and very reliable in coastal gardens.
